A live traffic broadcast quickly turned into a on-air UFO sighting when a spherical object was filmed flying over a California highway.
The bizarre moment was captured earlier this month as a chopper for Fox 11 news filmed a freeway in Los Angeles as rush hour traffic steadily flowed below.
Many of the drivers will have been entirely oblivious to the unusual orb soaring above them.
However, the camera operator in the helicopter did spot it and zoomed in to follow its trajectory.
