Sky watchers in and around Hooper, Colorado, have been reporting circular white lights darting around above the city for well over a month. While they resemble large balloons, their movements suggest something else. Hooper is in the San Luis Valley in south central Colorado, an area which has a long history of UFO sightings dating back to Native American folklore. Could these lights have another explanation?
A video showing lights over nearby Crestone, Colorado, was posted on YouTube on October 3, 2014. The objects were motionless for over 62 minutes, which experts say is unusual for weather balloons.
