The Washington Post reports that Jared Loughner, the man accused in the shooting massacre in Tucson on Saturday, posted on the UFO and conspiracy website, Abovestopsecret.com (aka, ATS). The staff of the website alleges that Loughner made these posts under the username ‘erad3′.
Bill Irvine, chief executive of the website’s parent company, said that he’s 99% sure that the posts were made by Loughner. Irvine added that, “He [Loughner] seemed just . . . way, way out there, from some of his ideas.”
I suspected something like this was coming. Now they plant the media meme that people who believe in UFOs might be potential threats to society. Although it's not stated explicitly, it's all implied in the one minute TV sound bytes, or in the articles that simply state that the shooter visited a certain "UFO and conspiracy website." Implied guilt by association. One can see where all this is eventually leading to, the end of the First Amendment as we have known it, IMO. To read the rest of the article, click here.
