Action-Reaction Barriers
There are two barriers, the action barrier for mind to act on matter, and the reaction barrier for matter to back-act on mind. The reaction barrier is normally much higher than the action barrier. That’s why uncontrollable quantum randomness works so well in technology. A coherent “Crick electric field” oscillating at about 40 Hz in the brain equalizes the heights of these two barriers enabling the conscious q*-bit to form. The life-time of this single q*-bit is approximately 1 second. Our stream of consciousness is a q*-bit stream.
